INFORMATION FOR CONSUMER CLIENTS

On February 5, 2016, the Czech Bar Association was authorized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic to resolve consumer disputes out of court in cases of disputes between lawyers and consumers arising from contracts for the provision of legal services (based on Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection, as amended). The website of this authorized body is www.cak.cz.

In the event of a dispute between a lawyer and a client who is a consumer, regarding a legal services contract that cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, the consumer may submit a proposal for out-of-court dispute resolution to the Czech Bar Association, located at Národní 16, Prague 1.
